
SAM FARBER
Sam Farber, Founder COPCO Cookware and OXO International received the 2012 Russel Wright Award the Russel Wright Award for carrying forward Wright’s eminently democratic concept that good design is for everyone. In 1960, he founded COPCO, known for its colorful cookware. In 1990 he came out of retirement to found OXO International, a leading manufacturer of kitchen tools with innovative usercentered designs. Mr. Farber has mentored design business programs at Harvard, M.I.T., Babson and Carnegie Mellon. As a Director of Raw Vision Magazine and Trustee of the American Folk Art Museum, Farber is an avid supporter of Outsider Art.
